Synopsis:
“In a „bathhouse“ somewhere in Athens. The steam and the smell of washing linger in the room. Muffled voices mingle with the sound of running water and scraping gloves. Here and there, wet rubber slippers squeak on the stone floor. The various visitors can relax with varying degrees of success. The bathouse project consists of nararrated sequences portraying an array of different situations in a Greek hammam.”
This studio building was planned and realized within four months. In total, five people developed and created this place. Our tasks included preparation, production, casting, budgeting, directing, cinematography, creating the shooting schedule, dismantling, and now post-production. A large part of the work was to fake the various materials in the room and to patinate them to make them look old.
