About
Born in Munich in 1992, interior architect BA Lina Doll developed an early interest in space as a means of storytelling. At the architecture firm Heinle, Wischer und Partner, she worked independently for two years in the field of spatial design and implementation.
Shortly after completing her studies, she discovered her passion for film and theatre and further developed this interest as an interdisciplinary student in Production Design at ZHdK. There, she realized various film and theatre projects and completed her studies in 2025.
Alongside spatial design, she also works in graphic design and visual communication. From print media to digital communication formats, she develops independent visual concepts and implements them both creatively and conceptually.
At the centre of her work is the expansion and redefinition of space as part of storytelling. She also understands materials and surfaces as carriers of stories. Experimenting with different materials is an essential part of her practice, allowing stories that cannot be told verbally to find their own form of expression through materiality and making visible what would otherwise remain hidden.
